Eastern United Soccer Club is a part of the Victorian Churches Football Association (VCFA) and operates in the Maroondah City Council.
Eastern United Soccer Club (ABN: 36 733 746 948) which has the following objectives:
To develop, maintain and promote the Association for players and supporters of junior and senior team sports in the community of Maroondah City and its environments with the express purpose of providing participating and inclusion of all people in our community based sports association.
To encourage and promote community values and ethics within the Association, with other participating (opposition) teams and towards the broader community.
To achieve an environment for personal development of members socially and in terms of playing team sports skillfully and at their best.
To enhance (where practicable) Maroondah City Council’s community and leisure activities/events
Eastern United is a fun, family-friendly club and that has a rich history in which we are pushing to redevelop. The club's values are to be inclucusive, respecful, ambitious and family
The club currently has 2 senior mens teams participating in the VCFA (being the second biggest association in Victoria with 8 senior mens leagues, 10 junior leagues and 5 women's divisons) but has reintroduced a junior soccer development program called "KickStart", each Saturday of the regular season, from 9.30am to 10:30am, for children aged 4 - 8.
Eastern United Soccer Club, seeks to promote football being played in the right way, not just regarding technical abilities, but also in terms of respect and fun. The club aims to be competitive while also giving everyone a fair go.
